Notorious chef and personality Gordon Ramsay designed the saucepan as part of his new cookware line with Royal Doulton. Ramsay imparted a degree of his tenaciousness and strength in the saucepan's tri-ply design, using layers of stainless steel and aluminum. The construction not only thwarts dents and corrosion, but also fosters greater efficiency while cooking.
The saucepan features a brushed 18/10 stainless-steel exterior. Beneath this outer layer, a heavy-gauge aluminum core enables accelerated heat conduction and distribution throughout the saucepan. For a nonporous cooking surface, the interior is composed in an easy-to-clean 18/10 stainless steel. Securely riveted to the pan's side, an ergonomic stainless-steel handle allows the chef to transport to and from the stovetop. For hanging storage, the pan provides a hanging hole at the handle's tip. A fitted stainless-steel lid expedites boiling and contains flavors during cooking. A loop handle is mounted on top of the lid. Dishwasher-safe, the pan also accommodates oven use, safely sustaining temperatures up to 500 degrees F.
